The Pakefield Retreat Centre is a peaceful cottage in a quiet seaside location on England’s east coast where you can walk on the nearby beaches, relax, practice yoga, take time to reflect and journal.

The retreat centre was established in 2003 to offer workshops, retreats and satsangs in the Yasodhara Yoga tradition. We offer foundational teachings from Swami Sivananada Radha ¬– Kundalini Yoga, the Divine Light Invocation, Dream Yoga, Mantra Yoga Karma Yoga and Hidden Language Hatha Yoga. Our signature workshops give yoga students and teachers from any yogic tradition an opportunity to develop a broader understanding of yoga and enter deeply into their own process of relaxation, concentration, clarification and meditation.

Mantra and Meditation – Sunday, March 15th 2020

Chanting opens the heart, stills the mind and invites you to sink a little deeper with every repetition of the mantra. In this workshop we will sing and recite together. Open your voice and heart to the healing effects of the mantra. You don’t need to be a ‘good singer’ at all! This is all about what you feel when singing and how your mind responds. Experienced or not, we can use our body as an instrument, or spiritual tool, to tune into sacred and healing vibrations of mantras and share them with others.

Mantra gatherings are loved for the depth and sincerity and people appreciate this sacred space in which they can feel safe to be fully open to what the chanting reveals to them.

When: Sunday, March 15th 2020, 10.30am to 1.00pm.

Where: Pakefield Retreat Centre, on Suffolk coast near Lowestoft

Cost: £25 (concessions available – just ask)
