Yasodhara Yoga Workshops in Cork

 

Maureen McLaughlin is a keen practitioner of yoga who first discovered a particular interest in Dream Yoga from Swami Radha’s book, Realities of the Dreaming Mind. Maureen took the Yoga Development Course at Yasodhara Ashram at the beginning of 2017, and brought Yasodhara Yoga to Cork when she returned home that summer.

Evening with Swami Padmananda

Swami Padmananda will be talking about Yasodhara Ashram and will offere an Introduction to key practices, the Divine Light Invocation – a powerful standing meditation, mantra, reflection, breath, and Hidden Language Hatha Yoga

Maureen McLaughlin opened the bar, called ‘Maureen’s’ in Mulgrave Road in October 2018. Her goal is to create a relaxing environment, and especially to make her bar a safe space for women. It provides the venue for some of Yasodhara Yoga workshops led by Swami Sukhananda during her visits.

Maureen McLaughlin took the 3 – month Yoga Development Course at Yasodhara Ashram in 2017 and returned to the Ashram in 2023 for an extended visit.
