Reflection & Journaling: Gain understanding about yourself and your life. Capture a moment of insight or delve deeply into a question that arises. Our journals can become storehouses of knowledge. Writing down your experiences helps you train the mind to concentrate and observe, and it creates a record of your own personal wisdom. It is an important yogic tool in the Yasodhara tradition, a tool to access the inner self and inner learning. This class uses some of the other practices offered in this series.

Wear comfortable clothing you can stretch in and bring a notebook or journal.

This class is part of a six-week series of classes designed to deepen your understanding of yourself and increase your awareness of the world within and around you. Every Tuesday evening, we will focus on a different spiritual practice. Each class stands alone. Attend one class or the whole series. A Journey Through the Chakras – CANCELLED

Travel through the chakras with the aid of a visual representation of the Kundalini system. Using yogic practices suited to the chakras, you can bring clarity to situations and choice in daily life.

Sacred Dance: Experience the rhythms and gestures of a sacred dance tradition from India. Through dance, you can embody the Divine within. This form of dance has precise language that speaks to and awakens your spiritual nature. No dance experience is needed. Simple and prayerful, dance is a way to explore the body as a spiritual tool.
