Hatha Yoga integrates classical asanas with spiritual practices of mantra and meditation. Offered in small groups, these classes empower students to accept and listen to their bodies. Non-competitive and compassionate; open to all levels. Suggested payment is $5, but any amount gratefully accepted.

Hatha Yoga integrates classical asanas with spiritual practices of mantra and meditation. Offered in small groups, these classes empower students to accept and listen to their bodies. Non-competitive and compassionate; open to all levels.
Create an image for yourself of all that is beautiful, powerful and wonderful about the sacred, creative energy of the feminine. Talk with others about the meaning and influence of the sacred feminine in your life. The workshop will include making a collage, questions about the manifestation of creative energy in the feminine, yogic practices, and time to reflect and connect with the inner feminine energy. Materials for collage are provided.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a notebook or journal.

Mantra Yoga: Chant these words of power, quiet your mind and open yourself to greater awareness. Mantra will help restore energy and aids in healing and relaxation. Concentration is cultivated, which brings a deep sense of peace and joy, as often arises with other forms of meditation. Mantra Yoga is based on the science of sound and vibration.
Wear comfortable clothing you can stretch in and bring a notebook or journal.
This class is part of a six-week series of classes designed to deepen your understanding of yourself and increase your awareness of the world within and around you. Every Tuesday evening, we will focus on a different spiritual practice. Each class stands alone. Attend one class or the whole series. Relaxation & Breath: What is it to relax? How do you get there? This class offers methods on how to achieve deep relaxation with gentle stretching, breath awareness and calming the mind.
