Based on dance traditions from India, Sacred Dance offers a way to embody the Divine within through gestures, rhythms and movements. It is a precise language that speaks to your spiritual nature. This series of classes will focus on an ancient dance that tells the story of the spiritual journey. No prior dance experience necessary.

Wear comfortable clothes you can stretch in.

Stilling the Mind

Yoga practices are an effective support for stilling the mind, whatever the reasons for doing so. In this series of classes, yoga methods will include reflection, concentration, breath awareness, some stretching, and visualization.

Chanting for Our Country

In collaboration with Sravasti Abbey, we are chanting mantra for the United States, to support a positive outlook on the diversity of our country, and that we grow in understanding and compassion for all. At the same time, the Sravasti Abbey nuns at their monastery in Newport, WA, are chanting and praying their Tibetan Buddhist practices with the same purpose. Everyone is welcome to join us at Yasodhara Yoga Spokane for this weekly event. Free.
