Juniper Glass

I am a Yasodhara Ashram certified teacher of Hatha, Dream & Kundalini Yoga since 2000. Teaching, to me, is holding an open yet focused space for people to practice, reflect, and experience themselves in a clearer way.

I began study of yoga practice and philosophy at The Yoga Institute, Mumbai, India in 1996 and found my spiritual home, Yasodhara Ashram, two years later. I regularly return to the Ashram to recertify, go on retreat, and be with my young son in spiritual community.

Being a parent and engaging in social change work are all part of my yoga. I am a proud member of the 2SLGTBQ community and aim to create yoga classes that are warm, safe, inclusive and healing for all bodies. In my work, I am a freelance consultant providing strategy and research support to foundations and nonprofits working to make our communities more equitable, healthy and peaceful. In the past, I helped to grow organizations that addressed issues such as violence prevention, girls’ empowerment, affordable housing, and forest conservation. I was previously managing editor at ascent magazine, a journal of spiritual reflection and social action.

Originally from the west coast of BC, I have lived in Montreal since 2003. I speak English and French.

Tiffany Woods

Tiffany Woods, Yasodhara Ashram Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher, and Hidden Language Hatha Yoga Teacher began her exploration of Yoga in 2010. Traveling across Canada to the Yasodhara Ashram in BC on a yearly basis since 2013, Tiffany has experienced profound and lasting changes in herself and in turn in her life, through insights revealed through her practice of this unique form of Hatha Yoga.

“Hidden Language Hatha Yoga has helped me to develop a greater awareness of my body, of my thoughts, and of my ensuing emotions, and to Be with what comes up through movement and stillness (depending on the asana for the particular class). Asking questions, moving with my body (in and out of asana), having that sacred space to hear what my body is revealing, and then writing my reflections has been very cathartic for me. Very healing.”
