$\"Screen$ Upon discovering the Yasodhara website, I was instantly drawn to the lake and mountains as well as the different yogic practices. I ended up living at the ashram for over 2 years, doing the 3-month Yoga Development Course (YDC, 2012), teacher certification courses, Karma Yoga, teaching classes and workshops and singing.\u00a0Back in the Netherlands I share the Light by singing and playing in different mantra and bhajan circles.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s part of a Yasodhara Yoga European Network fundraiser for Yasodhara Ashram\u2019s<\/a> Temple of Light. To give thanks for all this beautiful community has given me, all proceeds of this album go toward the Temple.<\/p>\n

ONLINE CLASSES<\/p>\n

Judith is teaching hatha to ex cancer patients. She now making her classes into online videos for her students.These are in Dutch:\u00a0 https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/nijntienijn<\/a>, and include a mix of songs, Mantra Yoga and Hatha Yoga. New videos will appear on Tuesdays.<\/p>\n

MY STORY<\/p>\n

During the three years I lived at Yasodhara Ashram a yoga retreat and study centre. I discovered the power of the voice and uncovered my own power.\u00a0I learned that singing helps me feel connected, stay present with myself and face what is happening within and around me. I took on the project of creating an album in order to stay connected to the teachings of the Ashram and to my higher Self.<\/p>\n

I also learned which internal voices to listen to and which to ignore. Overcoming criticism like \u201cIf you don\u2019t record in a studio, it\u2019ll never sound right,\u201d or \u201cwho in their right mind would ever listen to this?\u201d added to my learning. Choosing \u201cgood enough\u201d over \u201cperfect\u201d is a spiritual practice in its own right.<\/p>\n
