I am a Yasodhara Ashram certified teacher of Hatha, Dream & Kundalini Yoga since 2002. Teaching, to me, is creating an open yet focused space for people to practice, reflect, and experience themselves in a clearer way.
I began study of yoga practice and philosophy in 1996 and found my spiritual home, Yasodhara Ashram, two years later. Being a parent and engaging in social change work are all part of my yoga. Today, as a consultant, I provide strategy and research support to foundations and nonprofits working to make our communities more equitable, healthy and peaceful. In the past, I helped to grow organizations that addressed issues such as violence prevention, girls’ empowerment, affordable housing, and forest conservation. I was previously managing editor at ascent magazine, a journal of spiritual reflection and social action.
Originally from the west coast of BC, I have lived in Montreal since 2003. I speak both English and French.

Along side teaching, I am also deepening my studies of Yoga by taking a complete professional training program in Yoga Therapy. This is giving me the insight to work with therapeutic groups and private Yoga Therapy offering sessions to groups and individuals with specific needs and specific health challenges physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
