Karen first discovered Yasodhara Yoga at our centres in Canterbury and London. Her first experience of Yasodhara Ashram was 10 Days of Yoga course in 1999. She took the Yoga Development Course at Yasodhara Ashram in 2006 and stayed on at the Ashram to take her Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification Course. This summer she returned to Yasodhara Ashram with her young family for the first time to teach classes, join the community for Karma Yoga and enjoy time to relax on the beach with her children and old friends.

Swami Sukhananda first met Swami Radha in 1988 and was deeply moved by her experience. She has been icing and teaching yoga at Yasodhara Ashram and in Europe ever since. She is continually inspired by yoga and by witnessing its transformative effects.

Swami Sukhananda is a senior teacher from Yasodhara Ashram in British Columbia. She is an advocate of the Hidden Language approach to Hatha Yoga and has been offering workshops in North America and Europe for many years. She encourages us to take time with each asana, relax, tune into our bodies and find our answers within.
