Yasodhara Yoga Workshops in Cork
Maureen McLaughlin is a keen practitioner of yoga who first discovered a particular interest in Dream Yoga from Swami Radha’s book, Realities of the Dreaming Mind. Maureen took the Yoga Development Course at Yasodhara Ashram at the beginning of 2017, and brought Yasodhara Yoga to Cork when she returned home that summer. She invites Yoga students to group discussion and reflection at her bar in Mulgrave Road, Shandon, just across the River Lee from the Opera House.
McLaughlin opened the bar, called ‘Maureen’s’ in Mulgrave Road in October 2018. Her goal is to create a relaxing environment, and especially to make her bar a safe space for women. It has already provided the venue for Yasodhara Yoga workshops led by Swami Sukhananda during her visit in December 2018.
