 Starting bid: $80

Biographical information:

Bert was born and raised in Dutch Indies (Indonesia) and during his travel to the Netherlands in the early sixties, he decided to stop in India. He spent a considerable amount of time at Rishikesh and became aware of Swami Radha’s dedication in building an Ashram in Canada.

In the late eighties, Bert’s nephew Walter Cool inherited the sculpture. Walter offers this from his personal collection and feels that it is fitting that monies from this piece of art will assist in the rebuilding of the Temple. Walter has visited the Yasodhara Ashram several times and he regards it as an oasis of peace at the Lake.
